Dr Disrespect anuncia AAA Game Studio Midnight Society
Dr Disrespect has announced a new AAA game development study known as Midnight Society. As some fans of the transmitter know, Dr. Disrespect has worked in the design of levels for the Call of Duty franchise in the past, so he has some history in the industry. That said, he will join some strong additional talents, including Robert Bowling, formerly from Infinity Ward, and Quinn Delay, who has just left 343 industries. At this time, little information has been revealed on the first team project, but a mission statement has been added to the company’s report. Official Website.
We changed the tables in the traditional video game development model, and we adopt the ‘zero day community’. That means including our players, yes, to you, from the beginning earlier. That could be to try the recharge times and the patterns of backwardness in a shooting range or participate in the first sessions of JC. No more I hope this game is good». Be present when your voice can really have an impact because we want to listen to it. Really.
While the study now has a name and some important additional talents, Dr. Disrespect has been causing the company for a few months. During a transmission in August, Dr. Disrespect shared some conceptual art, which can now be found on the Midnight Society website. Conceptual art presents a bright orange factory, surrounded by molten magma. Everything seems taken from terminator 2.
It will be interesting to see what comes from the new company! There is a real talent behind the study, and Midnight Society’s mission statement makes it look like there will be a lot of community participation. It remains to be seen if that translates or not in a quality product, but it is expected that the company will result in something exciting. Dr Disrespect has criticized many developers and the decisions of him over the years, so this could be the opportunity of him to show the industry if he can really do better.
