Barrels of Ruins of Freshly discovered Fortnite insects
Back at the beginning of the year, fortnite added a new SHIELD KEG element, which allows players to restore their health, as well as the health of those around them. At least, it is assumed that this is how it works, but the Reddit Ibackk user has discovered a technical problem in which the element refuses to provide their assistance to save lives. The user shared a video evidence that shows that the element refuses to work, but it is not clear exactly why the problem occurred. It is worth noting that a moderator in the Official Subreddit game has taken note of the problem, so it is possible that we can see an Epic Games solution in the near future.
In addition to the publication in Reddit, Ibackk shared a video evidence of the fault on Twitter. The video can be found on the Tweet embedded below.
At this time, it is not clear how prominent it is this failure of Shield KEG, but several of Ibackk’s companions in the subnetdit claimed that they have found similar problems. A user stated that he found the problem in the metal tunnels at the Daily Bugle, while another one had a problem when using it inside a truck. If the fault is really prominent, it could be much more urgent for Epic Games to solve it earlier than later!
When the shield barrel was revealed for the first time, some fortnite Fans complained that the game had healing elements more than enough. If this really is broken or does not work as planned, players should be able to find many other ways to cure themselves in the game. That does not make this failure less frustrating, of course, but it will not break the game either. For now, fortnite Fans will only have to patiently wait for a resolution!
Fortnite is currently available at PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Nintendo Switch and PC. You can check all our previous game coverage here.
